The last song of the show is dedicated to Maurice, a Pink Flamingo’s regular who passed away two weeks ago at the age of 82.

Melting Pot New Season

Starting today (September 13, 2008) the Melting Pot show goes on air at 17hr (CET) instead of 19hr. Tune in to Urgent FM for the live stream.

On September 6 Melting Pot kicked off the new season with an hour full of first class soul and funk. We did some diggin’ on the internet and found the flea market funk blog of Jamison Harvey aka DJ Prestige. This excellent blog is written by a guy who really loves his vinyl. His posts are a pleasure to read and the records are often rarer than rare.

Music is meant to be heard, and not squirreled away like some acorns for the winter
DJ Prestige
